What is Entertaiment?

Entertaiment

Entertaiment is distraction, amusement, or the opposite of work. From a clown at a child’s birthday party to the spectacle of a stadium rock concert, entertainment evolves and can be adapted to any size of audience. The word comes from the French verb entretenir, a form of hospitality that includes entertaining guests. Some entertainment may be serious or have a hidden purpose: the satire of political events, the ceremonies of a religious festival, or even an act of violence for example.
